What is an Option Chain?
An option chain (sometimes called an options matrix) lists every call and put contract available on a stock, organised by strike price and expiration date. For each contract you see the bid, ask, last traded price, volume, open interest, implied volatility, and Greeks (delta, gamma, theta, vega).
Traders use the option chain to spot liquid strikes, compare implied volatility across expirations, and plan strategies like covered calls, iron condors, or long puts. Option Chain Live shows you the complete chain for 31 underlyings in real time — 28 popular US stocks/ETFs and India's three flagship indices (NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY, SENSEX). Data refreshes every 30 seconds while the relevant market is open.
Option Chain Live FAQ
What is an option chain?
The complete list of call and put options on a stock for every strike price and expiration. Shows bid/ask, last, volume, open interest, implied volatility, and Greeks.
How often is the data updated?
Every 30 seconds during the relevant market session — 9:30am–4:00pm ET for US tickers, 9:00am–3:30pm IST for Indian indices (Monday–Friday). Outside market hours the data refreshes more slowly so the page always has a recent snapshot.
Which tickers are supported?
28 high-volume US stocks and ETFs (NVDA, AAPL, MSFT, META, GOOGL, AMZN, SPY, QQQ, IBIT, GLD, AMD, AVGO, INTC, MU, PLTR, TSLA, MSTR, and others) plus 3 Indian indices: NIFTY 50, BANK NIFTY, and SENSEX (NSE/BSE weekly options).
Is this site free?
Yes. 100% free with no signup, no account, no limits.
Where does the data come from?
US options data comes from an OPRA-backed market feed. Indian index options come straight from NSE (NFO segment for NIFTY and BANKNIFTY) and BSE (BFO segment for SENSEX). Implied volatility and Greeks for both markets are computed using Black-Scholes-Merton pricing with the appropriate short-end government yield as the risk-free rate.
Can I trade directly from this site?
No. Option Chain Live is a free data and analysis tool only — not a broker. Execute trades through your broker.
